Common questions about therapy for anxiety

Each session is geared specifically towards treatment goals set and agreed upon by you. We will get straight to the point and focus on what will work for you. Plan on around 45-55 minutes of targeted, goal oriented interventions to reduce your symptoms safely and effectively.

Treatment length is completely based on your needs and can vary depending on how we progress. Every session is spent with the end goal in mind, I know your time is valuable. Active engagement and participation is vital for success. 6-12 sessions is typical for the type of treatment used. That doesn’t mean it will always take six, it doesn’t mean if you go over 12 there is something wrong. It all depends on your needs, this is just to give you an idea.

Treatment will begin with a consultation. If you decide we are a good fit, we will schedule an initial intake and first session. This is where we will work together to create a roadmap to follow as we navigate your treatment together.
